Hire Contract - Terms of Hire
1.1 The "CLIENT" means the person/s, organisation or company booking the equipment, act or entertainment with the “COMPANY". (In this case {customer’s full name on booking form ) is the “CLIENT”)
1.2 The "COMPANY" means Dream Weddings and Events Ireland
1.3 'Dry' hire is the hire of equipment for the 'HIRER' to operate and supervise themselves.
1.4 'Wet' hire is the hire of equipment or entertainment accompanied by a representative of the 'company' to supervise use of the booked equipment or entertainment.
1.5 The period of hire is from (Date of hire on booking form ) until the following day at an agreed time unless stated otherwise. Exceptions to this are displays set up for drinks receptions at weddings, in this case hire is for the duration of the drinks reception at venue and displays will be collected when dinner call is announced, unless other arrangements have been made by the clients and the company.

1.7 By signing our booking form you agree to these terms and conditions
2. Bookings
2.1 All equipment remains the property of the company at all times.
2.2 In the event of traffic or other uncontrollable circumstances preventing us from being able to fulfil our contracted obligations our liability shall be limited to a refund of any monies paid, other than the non- refundable deposit, in relation to the contracted event or a pro rata reduction in the hire fee in the event of delayed start. No further compensation will be paid.
2.3 No booking is confirmed until deposit has been paid AND booking form has been signed.
2.4 If making changes to an existing booking, all money paid off an existing booking is non transferable. A new booking form will be required and a deposit will be required.
3 Prices, Deposit & Balance Payments
3.1 All hires are subject to a non-refundable deposit of at least €100
3.2 The balance is required to be paid in full and cleared 14 days before prior to event.
3.3 If there is a change in date further than 12 months or/and the date has been changed more than once from the original celebration date, there will be an added charge of 10% on top of the original booking price to cover inflation costs. We cannot guarantee will be available for new date chosen.
3.4 If the company provides the client with a reduced rate/discount on multiple items booked and any number of items is removed from the initial booking then the company will charge the full price of each item not removed and no reduced rate will be offered. A new booking form will need to be completed.
4 Location, Facilities & Conduct
4.1 Hired equipment will be set up in one location only as agreed on arrival and will not be moved once unloaded.
4.2 “THE COMPANY” reserves the right to refuse delivery if the venue or site is deemed to be unsuitable. If there is no parking at the venue we will not be able to supply. In such a case no refund will be given and the full hire fee will be non refundable.
4.3 When setting up for displays weddings throughout the wedding day we will require access to the venue from 8am the morning of the wedding to ensure we have adequate time to set up. When supplying ceremony decor we will need access to the ceremony venue 3 hours prior.
4.4 If electric point is required for the service it must be located within 3 metres of where the hired item is to be set up. Electric points must be standard uk plugs.
4.5 Any consumables left on the hired item when we collect will be rightfully property of Dream Weddings and Events. We are not obliged to return (by post) any consumables after collection has been made.
4.6 Be advised that foods that involve cooking (popcorn machine , chocolate fountain) will produce heat. We advise to have these machines located in well ventilated rooms with high ceilings as not to affect any smoke alarms.. Dream Weddings and Events Ireland will not be held responsible for for any smoke/fire alarms going off at the venue and affecting the event and /or any items on site (evacuation, sprinkler system etc..). Upon hire of the machines and selecting the location on site the client is responsible for this action.Contact us in advance if you have any concerns over this prior to the event.
4.7 Our staff need to be advised in advance if there are stairs to encounter on site where we will be loading/unloading equipment. If the elevator is not functioning we will need to made aware of this in advance. If an extra staff member is needed due to this, an extra charge will apply.
4.8 The company will not collect equipment during/after an event late at night i.e past 8pm. The company does not work past these hours. All collections will be made the following morning. It is the hirers responsibility to arrange with the venue for the company to have access to the venue the following morning.
5. Liability & Insurance
5.1 ‘The COMPANY’ liability insurance covers use of the equipment only whilst booked on hire during the day and overnight for teepee hire only.
5.2 “The CLIENT” agrees to indemnify the company for any damage or theft of the COMPANY’s equipment whilst on hire.
5.3 The COMPANY accepts no liability for any damage or loss of personal property and or any injury arising from the use of the hired equipment.
Hire Conditions
6. Contract Terms & Conditions of Hire
If the Client is in any doubt as to the meaning of the following, a representative from Dream Weddings and Events Ireland should immediately be consulted before signing)
6.1 Dream Weddings and Events Ireland excludes any liability for injury loss or damage caused to any person using the equipment contrary to the terms and conditions of this Contract.
6.2 IN ALL HIRING CONTRACTS a refundable bond of €100 in the form of cash or online payment is payable. Such bond to be returned to the CLIENT within 24 hours of return of the equipment, unless the hired equipment and any accessories have been damaged or lost during the period of hire and in such circumstances the bond will be used in full or part payment of those repairs/replacements. The CLIENT shall indemnify Dream Weddings and Events Ireland for the full cost of repair of any damage done to any equipment which may occur during the period of the hiring.
6.3 THE CLIENT shall not use the equipment for any purpose other than that described in the HIRING AGREEMENT and shall not sub hire or use the equipment or allow the equipment to be used for any unlawful purpose or in any unlawful way, nor allow anyone onto the equipment wearing shoes, carrying sharp objects, key-rings, metal studded clothing or any other similar items which could cause damage to others or the equipment. The CLIENT should not use the equipment outside unless previously arranged .
6.4 PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE is excluded in its entirety following any claim or injury to any third party or employee whether directly or indirectly related to the use of drugs and/or alcohol
6.5 Adult supervision is required at all times when hiring teepee tents or event displays.Childcare is not provided and it is the responsibility god the hirer to take duty of care and supervise children with the equipment. We are not responsible for the welfare of any children at events/ childrens parties which remains the full responsibility of the hirer.
6.6 Teepee sleepover tents are recommended for children over the age of 5 , children age 7 should be supervised at all times including overnight.
6.7 Dream Weddings and Events Ireland take no responsibility (including skin, food, materials etc.) where we are not advised in advance of the condition.All the relevant information should be detailed on the booking form.
6.8 No alcohol is supplied with our Prosecco walls.It is the clients responsibility to check with the venue to ensure they are ok with having a Prosecco wall to avoid disappointments.
If any glasses are missing when collecting there will be a charge of €5 per glass.
6.9 IF THE CLIENT wishes to cancel the booking for whatever reason, the following cancellation charges will become payable.
6.10 All equipment hired must be ready for collection as agreed. If any displays are not present upon collection and a further collection is required, an additional travel fee will be charged.
